You asked for more smoothies, so here they are!

Four more fantastic smoothies for any time of the year.

These recipes should be enough for one serving, but you might want to adjust some quantities to your personal taste; I know that’s what I usually do after I’ve tried a new recipe.

A simple red one

Ingredients
  1. ½ cup spinach
  2. ½ cup water
  3. 1 whole beet
  4. 1 carrot
  5. 1 small apple
Instructions
  1. Blend the water and spinach together until smooth. Add the other ingredients. Enjoy!
Notes
  1. Iron rich and great tasting!

Peach Berry Smoothie

Ingredients
  1. 1 peach
  2. ¼ cup strawberries
  3. ¼ cup raspberries
  4. ½ banana
  5. ¼ cup yoghurt
  6. ½ cup of your favourite milk
Instructions
  1. Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
Notes
  1. A good pre or post workout smoothie, you can add protein powder, mixed nuts and/or chia seeds to this one for an extra protein punch.

Mostly Melons

Ingredients
  1. ½ cup watermelon
  2. ½ cup rock melon (canteloupe)
  3. ¼ cup honeydew melon
  4. ½ cup strawberries
  5. Water and or ice to taste
Instructions
  1. Blend all ingredients together and add water until your smoothie reaches the desired consistency.
Notes
  1. This is a great summer smoothie to keep your energy and fluid levels up.
  2. If you use frozen strawberries and watermelon chunks you won’t need to add any ice!

Cold fighting Immune Booster

Ingredients
  1. 1 clove garlic
  2. 1 teaspoon ginger
  3. ½ cup spinach
  4. juice of ½ a lemon
  5. ½ teaspoon turmeric
  6. ¼ cup of hot water
  7. 1-2 teaspoons of honey
Instructions
  1. Blend all ingredients together and sip slowly to feel better!
Notes
  1. Instead of the hot water, just add all of the other ingredients to a cup of green tea for a bigger anti-oxidant boost!
