3 summer brekkie bowls that are healthy and delicious
These 3 Summer brekkie bowls are perfectly suited for healthy and delicious Summer breakfasts.
If you know anything about me by now, you know that breakfast is my favourite meal and that I absolutely loooove a good brekkie bowl or smoothie bowl.
I mean, what’s not to love? They’re delicious and nutritious. These brekkie bowls will fill you up, keep you satisfied until lunchtime and keep those nasty sugar cravings at bay.
You can easily make a different one every day, by just switching out the fruits, nuts & seeds for different flavour combos.
1. The 5 minute summer brekkie bowl
The first recipe I’ve got for you here is mixed straight in the bowl, so you don’t need a blender.
This is my favourite go-to, because it’s so quick and easy. And because it’s so versatile, you’ll never get bored with it.
Just use different fruit, nuts, seeds or different muesli/granola combo’s for a new flavour every day.

2. Pomegranate açai brekkie bowl
You’ll need a blender to make the pomegranate acai brekkie bowl. I use acai powder with frozen berries in this one.
I also add some oats for texture, but you could use flax or chia seeds instead.
Pomegranate seeds give this brekkie bowl a lovely freshness, and they combine really well with the dried mango.

3. Strawberry mango brekkie bowl
Mangos for me are the taste of Summer, which is why I use them a lot in my brekkie bowls, popsicles and ice cream recipes.
This brekkie bowl is a classic with mango, strawberries, Greek yoghurt and coconut milk.
For a refreshingly different post workout breakfast, blend this one up, pour into some popsicle moulds and then freeze them for 2-3 hours.
