Ingredients

water

whole beetroot, chopped

carrot, sliced
▢

cup
spinach
▢

small apple or pear, chopped
▢

thin slice of ginger
Instructions
Roughly chop and slice all of the fruit and vegetables.
First blend the water and spinach together until smooth.
Then add the other ingredients and blend again.
Pour into glasses and enjoy.
Notes
To bump up protein and make this smoothie a more balanced post-workout drink, add:
A scoop of plain or vanilla protein powder, or
2 tbsp hemp seeds or chia seeds
