Your body hasn’t let you down. It’s just changed the rules.
And once you understand what’s actually changed – and why – everything starts to make a lot more sense.
After menopause, your body’s working with very different hormone levels than it used to. And that doesn’t just cause symptoms like hot flushes and brain fog.
It affects most of your body’s systems and changes the way they respond to food, exercise, stress, sleep, and recovery.
Your metabolism, hunger signals, energy, fat storage, and ability to build and maintain muscle all work differently now.
Not worse. Just different.
But most diets and programs haven’t caught up with that reality. They’re still built on the same old “eat less, move more” logic – which ignores what’s really going on inside your body.
Have you been following the rules… but they’re not working anymore?
You’ve been dieting on and off for most of your life.
You’ve done the programs, followed the plans, tracked your food.
And there were times in the past when it worked.
But somewhere along the way, the results stopped matching the effort.
You didn’t give up though, you kept trying.
Another plan. Another reset. Another round of “right, this time I’ll be good.”
But instead of feeling more in control, you just feel exhausted.
And frustrated that all that effort still isn’t giving you the results you want.
Now you’re quietly wondering how much longer you can keep doing this.
How much longer you can keep starting over, and feeling like your body still isn’t getting the memo.
There may even be a small voice underneath it all asking:
“What if I’m doing this wrong?”
You’re not doing it wrong though. And you aren’t the problem.
The problem is, you’ve been trying to get results from rules that were never designed for the body you have now.
So of course it feels confusing.
Of course you’re tired.
And of course you’re still searching for something that finally makes sense.
Because even after all of that, you haven’t given up.
There’s still a part of you hoping there’s a better way – one that doesn’t involve tiny meals, punishing exercise, or spending the rest of your life thinking about food all the time.
And there is.
You’re just using a map that no longer matches the terrain.
When you understand what’s changed in your body – and learn how to work in sync with it instead of fighting it all the time – the struggle starts to make sense.
And more importantly, the way forward becomes clear.
And can we talk about something else for a sec?
There’s a particular kind of pressure that comes with being a woman over 50 who still wants to lose weight.
On one side, you’ve spent decades listening to diet culture tell you your worth is tied to how you look.
On the other, there’s an implication that you should be past caring about that by now.
I say both of those can take a seat.
Wanting to feel good in your body isn’t vanity.
Wanting to zip up your favourite jeans isn’t shallow.
Neither is wanting to keep up with your grandkids, or know you’re building a body that will carry you well into old age.
Far from it. That’s self-respect.
And yes, how you look matters. Of course it does. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to like what you see when you catch your reflection.
What I’ve found from my own experience, and the women I work with – is that when you start working in sync with your body, things change in ways you can feel, not just measure.
You start feeling stronger, more confident, and more at home in your body again.
Here’s what I want you to know…
The woman on the other side of this isn’t someone you’d barely recognise. She’s still you – just no longer at war with her body.
She’s stopped trying to get by on tiny portions and boring meals that never really satisfy her.
She understands what her body needs now, and why – and that understanding has changed everything.
Not because she found more willpower.
She just stopped needing it.
She feels capable and quietly confident in the way she takes care of herself.
She’s found her way – and it turns out, it was never about fighting harder, or trying to ‘be good.’
It’s about understanding her body well enough to finally give it what it needs.
Wendy gets it – especially the experience so many women have of battling our bodies for years. She helped me understand that I hadn’t been failing at dieting – the diets had been failing me.
With Wendy, it’s not about dieting, it’s about learning to relax around food, reconnect with your body, and move in ways that feel good.
She believes it’s possible to live this way, and that belief in me and my goals means a lot.
Why I Created Better than Ever
I want to tell you something I don’t share lightly.
I’ve been a health coach since 2014. I’ve always walked my talk – eating well, exercising regularly, taking care of myself.
And when menopause arrived, I thought I knew what to expect. I was fit and healthy, so I assumed I’d be fine. But I was so not prepared for what actually happened.
Despite doing everything “right”, I started gaining weight. Belly fat, especially. And I had no idea why.
I didn’t connect it to hormonal changes, because back then I didn’t know estrogen plays such a big role in so many of the body’s systems.
So when it dropped, of course my metabolism, muscle, hunger, energy, sleep, and fat storage were affected.
I just didn’t know that yet.
And here’s the part that still stings a little to admit: I was embarrassed.
I was a health coach who couldn’t figure out what was happening in her own body.
So I withdrew. Kept trying harder with things that weren’t working, and wondering why.
Eventually, I found training that made sense of the physiological changes.
And as I worked through it and applied what I was learning to myself, the penny really dropped.
I came out the other side understanding what post-menopausal bodies actually need.
I created the Better Than Ever Collective because most programs don’t cater for us.
They either act like women over 50 don’t exist.
Or they lump all women into one broad category, as if a 30-year-old body and a 60-year-old body have the same needs.
They don’t. And that matters.
It’s why I do this work.
I’m not your coach because I have all the answers.
I’m your coach because I’ve asked all the same questions.
One thing I want to add before you dive in.
Understanding something and actually doing it are two very different things.
Most of us have read the articles, followed the advice, and learned what we’re “supposed” to do.
And yet…
Knowing what to do doesn’t always mean you can make it work in real life.
Knowledge on its own doesn’t create change.
Daily practice does.
So does showing up imperfectly, and learning how to keep going.
Everything inside the Collective is designed with that in mind.
The courses give you the knowledge – the “knowing” part of the process.
And the check-ins, community, and ongoing guidance are where the “doing” happens.
That’s where knowledge becomes practice.
And practice becomes habit.
Here’s What’s Waiting For You Inside Better than Ever
The Better Than Ever Collective is built around my Midlife Mastery Formula – the practical, science-based approach I use to help post-menopausal women work with their bodies.
Inside the membership, you’ll learn how to apply the three pillars of that formula in real life:
Physical Reset
Learning how to fuel your body, understand the kind of exercise your body needs now, and choose the right combination to suit you.
Mindset Shift
Letting go of outdated diet rules and old beliefs, so you can confidently make decisions that support your body.
Lifestyle Integration
Building sleep, stress management, and recovery into your everyday life, without needing everything to be perfect.
At the heart of it all is the Midlife Mojo Reset – the core program inside Better Than Ever, where you’ll learn why your old diet and exercise routines stopped working, and what your body needs now instead.
No rigid rules. No overwhelming overhaul.
Just the tools, structure, and support to help you care for your body in a way that finally makes sense.
The information and encouragement that Wendy provided was extremely helpful.
Small steps, changing one habit at a time, taking the time to enjoy my food and not rushing.
My sleep pattern is also improving and I am feeling better rested and much happier.

Which level is right for you?
Better Than Ever isn’t built like a typical program.
There’s no rigid plan you have to follow perfectly, no pressure to keep up, and no sense that you’ve failed if life gets in the way.
What’s inside is designed to meet you where you are – and stay useful as that changes.
Some women want a place to learn, reset, and keep coming back to as they build habits at their own pace.
Others know they’ll feel more confident with closer support, regular check-ins, and someone helping them work through the decisions as they come up.
Both are completely valid.
The two membership levels simply reflect different kinds of support.
Essentials gives you the courses, resources, community, and weekly self check-ins so you can learn, implement, and make progress at your own pace.
Plus adds a more personalised layer of support, with one-on-one guidance so you’re not navigating it alone or waiting long for an answer when you need one.
Have a read through both, and trust yourself to know which one fits where you are right now.
BTE Essentials — $29/month, no lock-in, cancel anytime
Essentials is your entry point into a completely different way of thinking about your health. And at $29 a month, it’s genuinely low risk.
Inside, you’ll find everything you need to start understanding your body as it is now, and building habits that actually work with it.
The courses, meal plans, recipes, exercise guidance, and resources are all yours from day one.
Each week, you’ll also have a simple self check-in to help you notice what’s working, spot patterns, and see where you’re getting stuck – so your next steps are guided by what’s actually happening in your life, not guesswork or all-or-nothing thinking.
And you’re not just left to figure it all out in silence.
The community is there too – a supportive space to ask questions, share wins, and connect with women who genuinely get it. I’m part of the conversation as well, offering guidance and perspective to help you stay focused without feeling like you’re doing it all alone.
Some members work through the content step by step. Others dip in and out – jumping back in when they want a boost, or feel like they need to recalibrate.
There’s no wrong way to use it.
And if you try it for a month and decide it’s not for you? You cancel. No questions asked, no awkward process.
At the very least, you’ll leave with a much clearer understanding of what’s actually been going on in your body – and that alone can make a real difference.
I was fortunate enough to be part of the first intake of The Midlife Mojo Reset.
I picked 2 habits to implement: eating protein at every meal and the circadian clock eating window. It turned out that this allowed me to add another: starting the day with a glass of water.
Unexpectedly, this has had the added benefit of making me feel more refreshed in the morning! There were 9 weeks between me starting the programme and going on holiday, and I lost 4kg in that time.
I can’t wait to experience the long term results.

BTE Plus — $699 for 3 months
Plus is for the woman who knows she’ll make better progress with closer support, personalised guidance, and someone right alongside her while she does it.
It includes everything in Essentials – all the courses, resources, and community. The real difference is the level of access you have to me.
We start by getting clear on where you are, what you want, and what’s been getting in the way.
From there, you have a personalised plan built around your life, your body, and your goals.
Each week, I’ll personally review your check-in, and respond with feedback specific to where you’re at – what’s working, what patterns are showing up, and what your next best step might be.
Every month, we also have a one-on-one Zoom call to review your progress, adjust your approach if needed, and make sure you’re moving in the right direction.
But in between those calls is where so much of the real progress happens.
When questions come up – the ones that would have stopped you in your tracks before, or sent you down a Google rabbit hole – now you just ask me.
We message through the portal, or another messaging app if you prefer.
Ask as many questions as you need. Change direction if something isn’t working. Go deeper on something that’s finally clicking.
And when you have a win – when you realise you haven’t thought about food once today, or have a few good night’s sleep in a row – you can tell me.
Because I understand why it matters.
When we get on our monthly Zoom call, we’re taking stock of what we already know from your weekly check-ins. We’re looking at what’s already shifted, what needs adjusting, and deciding together what comes next.
Three months of that kind of support changes things. Not because I have a magic formula, but because having someone in your corner who knows your story, and notices the patterns is what makes all the difference.
This is the best thing I’ve ever done!

Thinking about BTE Plus but not quite sure yet?
Click the button below to send me a message, and let’s have a chat. Not a sales call, just a conversation.
You can ask whatever’s on your mind, make sure you understand how it all works, and get a feel for whether Plus is the right fit for you.
No pitch. No pressure.
Just an honest conversation so you can feel confident in your decision either way.
Start with confidence
Trying something new when you’ve been let down before takes courage. I don’t take that lightly.
So here’s what I want you to know.
For Essentials – try it for a month.
If it doesn’t feel like the right fit, cancel. No questions asked, no awkward process.
But I’m confident you’ll leave with at least a few genuine lightbulb moments about what’s been going on in your body.
For Plus – I’m making you a commitment.
If you show up, engage with the process, and genuinely give it a go – and after three months you feel like you’re no further forward than when you started – I’ll keep working with you for no additional charge until we’ve got you moving forward.
I can make that offer because I’ve never met a woman who showed up consistently and got nothing from it.
Progress isn’t always linear, and it doesn’t always look the way we expect it to. But it happens.
You bring the willingness. I’ll bring everything else.
Got questions? I’ve got answers!
How do I know this won't be just another failed diet attempt?
That’s exactly the right question to ask.
Especially if you’ve tried plenty of things before and felt let down by the results.
Here’s what’s different.
Every approach you’ve tried before was built around rules that were never designed for your body as it is now. It’s not that you chose badly, it’s because most programs simply don’t account for what changes after menopause.
So the results were always going to be limited, no matter how hard you tried.
This isn’t a new set of rules. It’s a completely different understanding of what your body needs now, and why.
And once that clicks, things start to make sense in a way they probably haven’t for a while.
That’s not a promise of perfection.
It’s just a different starting point – that’s finally in the right place.
I'm really busy. I'm not sure I have the time.
This is probably the most common thing I hear – and I understand it completely.
But here’s the thing: Better Than Ever isn’t asking you to add a big, complicated new routine to your already full life. It’s designed to fit around real life, not replace it.
The courses are self-paced. The resources are there when you need them. And the habits we focus on building are small, sustainable, and practical – not another overwhelming overhaul.
Most members find that once they understand what their body actually needs, they stop wasting time and energy on things that aren’t working.
That’s the difference.
You’re not just adding more. You’re learning what’s worth focusing on – and what you can finally stop carrying.
Is this just about weight loss?
Weight loss is an important goal for many members, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting that.
Wanting to feel comfortable in your clothes, to feel like yourself when you catch your reflection – that’s not vanity. That’s self-respect.
But no, it’s not just about weight loss.
We focus on energy, strength, sleep, gut health, stress, and building a relationship with your body that isn’t ruled by a number on the scales.
Many members find that as those things improve, their weight shifts too – without the obsessive tracking and restriction they’ve lived with for years.
The goal is a body you feel good in and confident about – however that looks for you.
What if I still have menopausal symptoms?
You’re absolutely welcome here. Some women experience symptoms well beyond what’s considered the typical menopausal window – and that’s more common than most people realise.
Better Than Ever is built around supporting post-menopausal physiology – and that includes the very real fact that symptoms don’t always disappear just because you’re officially “post-menopause.”
Lots of women continue to deal with things like sleep disruption, stress, and body changes well beyond the menopause transition itself.
That’s exactly why Better Than Ever is different. We don’t separate sleep, stress, energy, food, movement, and body changes into neat little boxes.
We look at how they all connect, and build habits that give your body what it needs.
What happens when life gets in the way?
It will. That’s not pessimism, just reality. Holidays, family commitments, stressful weeks, seasons where everything feels harder than usual. They’re a normal part of life.
That’s why Better Than Ever isn’t built around perfect conditions.
Because lasting progress doesn’t come from never getting thrown off track. It comes from having solid foundations to come back to when life gets messy.
That’s what we build here: simple daily habits and solid foundations you can come back to.
So a bump in the road is just that – a bump.
Not a reason to start over.
Not evidence that you’ve failed again.
You expect the bumps. You plan for them. And you keep going.
Is the investment worth it?
Only you can decide what feels right for you – but here’s how I see it.
At $29 a month, BTE Essentials is a genuinely low-risk way to get post-menopause-specific guidance, resources, and community support.
To put that in context, one private appointment for nutrition advice can cost upwards of $150 – and that’s usually one conversation.
Essentials gives you an ongoing place to learn, ask questions, check in, and keep coming back to the work in real life.
BTE Plus is a bigger investment, because it includes much closer support. For $699 over three months, you get full access to the Collective plus personalised guidance, one-on-one calls, and access to me between sessions as questions come up.
But beyond the numbers, the real question is what it costs to keep doing what you’ve been doing.
Another year of programs that don’t really fit.
Another year of second-guessing yourself.
Another year of feeling like you’re fighting your body.
That has a cost too.
Can I cancel if it's not for me?
Essentials – yes, anytime. No lock-ins, no contracts, no awkward hoops to jump through.
Some members cancel and come back when they feel like they need a reset or a boost. That’s completely fine.
Plus is different because it’s a three-month coaching program, not a month-to-month membership.
If something genuinely changes and you need to cancel, just get in touch and we’ll talk it through based on your circumstances.
And if you’re unsure whether Plus is the right fit before joining, send me a message first and let’s have a chat.
Ready to stop fighting your body and start understanding it?
You’ve spent long enough working against your body – and wondering why it’s not working.
If something on this page made you think, “Yes, that’s exactly it,” trust that feeling.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before you take the next step.
You just have to be willing to try something that’s built for the way your body works now.
Better Than Ever is here to help you do that.
She helped me understand that I hadn’t been failing at dieting – the diet had been failing me.”
