About the Dessert & Snack Recipe Pack

I wanted to make sure there’s something for every dessert lover in this recipe pack.

Along with the mouth-watering desserts, I’ve got most snacking situations covered too: Movie night popcorn or baked veggie crisps. Brain healthy study snacks, like roasted chickpeas, bliss balls and muesli bars. Pre and post-workout snacks like energy bars, avocado toast toppers and smoothies.

I've tried meal planning in the past, but I've never really stuck with it. How are these recipe packs different?

The recipes and meal plans in my recipe packs have loads of inbuilt flexibility, so you can customise them as much or as little as you like. Swap out recipe ingredients you don’t like, swap meals from week to week, whatever you need to suit your lifestyle and your tastes.

“But what if I don’t have time?” I hear you say. Well, I’ve got you covered when you’re extra busy too – just follow the plans as they are. The shopping lists are already done, so you just have to shop, prep and cook.

What happens if I get bored after a while?

Oooh, great question! And that’s why I created the Online Healthy Recipe Club. If you get bored after eating the same meals for a while, you need to check out the Recipe Club.

What kind of recipes will I get? Are they just for dinner?

The 5-Ingredient pack, and the High Protein pack have a selection of recipes for all meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and everything in between.

The difference being the 5-Ingredient pack recipes are based around 5 ingredients, and the High Protein pack recipes are all high in protein.

The Desserts & Snacks pack has a variety of sweet and savoury dessert and snack recipes, made with nutritious ingredients.

Are the recipe ingredients expensive? I usually spend a lot of money on groceries when I'm on a diet.

First of all, this isn’t a diet! This is regular food that you’ll eat all the time. And making these recipes is definitely not expensive. The meals in my recipe packs are made using everyday ingredients you can buy at most supermarkets. In fact, you’ll probably save money when you follow the weekly plans by only buying what you need.

Will my family like the food, or will I have to cook separate meals?

The recipes are all delicious “regular” healthy meals. They don’t have any weird or unusual ingredients, or require you to eat according to specific calorie limits or time frames. The whole family can enjoy nutritious meals together at regular mealtimes.

What about leftovers?

My recipes and meal plans are designed to make use of leftovers. Some of the recipes make it easy to meal prep in real-time. So you make a double quantity, then keep the leftovers as a freezer meal for another day, or take them to work the next day for lunch.

I'm gluten/lactose intolerant. Can I follow these meal plans?

Yes, you can! Every recipe has a nutrition information panel with macro breakdowns and a key showing if they contain gluten, dairy or nuts. If you have a particular sensitivity and you’re not sure about one of the recipes, you can always reach out and ask for help with substitutions.

    Wendy I am astounded and delighted with these recipes at the variety and how uncomplicated they appear.

    They all look delicious and quite straightforward… looking forward to trying them all, maybe start with the ‘vegan lemon coconut cake’ which looks and sounds delicious.

    The mango Weiss Bars are so good and I can’t believe how easy they are to make. The two best things about summer – mangos and ice cream. together in a healthy dessert. I need to get a few batches in the freezer before the end of mango season. It was worth buying this recipe book just for these, but I will be trying some of the other recipes too!

    There are so many things I love about this book.
    1. All of the ingredients are healthy
    2. The photos are real-time and authentic
    3. The recipes all have a “healthy twist” to desserts and snacking-my favorite things to do.
    4. There are several categories to choose from. Some of my favorites are the Breads, particularly the healthy banana nut bread; the Bliss Balls, I love the Jaffa balls; the Cookies and they are no-bake!, the oat cookies…. yum; the master Pancake recipe that you can add any fruit or nut to (frozen blueberries are our favorite); the Veggie Crostini is fabulous as a healthy appetizer for just us or a party and the Green Smoothie is very healthy and versatile. I sometimes add barley grass and seaweed to mine. Great kick to the day.
    The book is extremely affordable and packed with so many diverse, healthy desserts and snacks. Well worth the money!

    Yum, yum, yum! The raw choc energy bars are now my favourite pre gym breakfast. One small bar is enough to get me through my workout without a rumbling tummy.
