3 Awesome Motivational Workout Playlists

I know music can be a very personal thing, especially when we’re talking about workout playlists and music.

What style of music motivates you to keep going through a long run, or pumps you up at the gym to get in those last few reps?

For me, my workout music is mostly upbeat, boppy dance music from any era. I love mixing current pop songs with stuff from other decades. Anything with a fast beat and catchy tune that makes me want to move my body, really.

Whether you’re a millennial, Gen Xer, or Baby Boomer, there’s something here in these workout playlists for everyone.

So download them below, give them a listen, and let me know if they’re your style too.

Workout playlist number 1: Across the Decades

The first playlist mixes some of my favourite tunes from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s with more current pop songs.

It’s a versatile workout playlist that I like to use for a run or a tough gym session.

Workout playlist number 2: Guardians of the Galaxy

The music in this playlist is inspired by the first Guardians of the Galaxy film. Half of the songs are from the film and the rest are others from the same era that I find motivating.

Workout playlist number 3: Run Through the 70’s

The third playlist is a mix of my favourite disco and poppy tunes from the era I grew up in: the 70’s.
