37 healthy breakfast bowl recipes
July 2026 Update: I’ve refreshed this post with a few new recipes and updated the free breakfast guide I recommend for women navigating post-menopause.
Breakfast bowls, or brekkie bowls as I usually call them, are one of the easiest ways to build a satisfying breakfast without overthinking it. They can be sweet, savoury, simple, loaded with toppings, or made from whatever you’ve already got in the fridge.
The key is balance. A bowl that looks healthy isn’t always filling enough. Especially after menopause, when protein, fibre and steady energy throughout the day matter more than ever.
So I’ve pulled together a collection of healthy breakfast bowl ideas that are delicious, practical, and easy to adapt to your own taste.
